Eric Trump Says Family Is In Possession Of Raid Surveillance Tapes “Absolutely” Will Release Them

Former President Trump's son, Eric Trump, said his family is in possession of surveillance tapes of the FBI raid at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida and will "absolutely" release the footage "at the right time."

Former President Trump’s son, Eric Trump, said his family is in possession of surveillance tapes of the FBI raid at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida and will “absolutely” release the footage “at the right time.”

“Will you—you still have the surveillance tape, is that correct? Will you, are you allowed to share that with the country?” Sean Hannity, Fox News Host asked Eric Trump on Monday.

“Absolutely, Sean. At the right time,” Eric Trump replied, adding that all law enforcement officers, including FBI agents, should wear body cameras for transparency reasons.

Former President Donald Trump said Monday that FBI investigators took his passports when they raided his Florida home last week.

“In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social. “This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country. Third World!”

It’s not clear why the FBI may have taken his passports or why he apparently has three of them. Trump said one was expired.

Trump took to his social media platform, Truth Social last Tuesday, blasting President Biden after the raid at Mar-a-Lago.

“A horrible thing that took place yesterday at Mar-a-Lago. We are no better than a third-world country, a banana republic. It is a continuation of Russia, Russia, Russia, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax # 2, the no collusion Mueller Report, and more. To make matters worse it is all, in my opinion, a coordinated attack with Radical Left Democrat state & local D.A.’s & A.G.’s,” Trump said.

“Biden knew all about this, just like he knew all about Hunter’s “deals,” Trump said.

When asked on Tuesday if the Biden administration is weaponizing the Justice Department and the FBI against political opponents, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said, “The president has been very clear from before he was elected. Very clear on this. The president believes in the rule of law, The President believes in the independence of the Department of Justice.”

When pushed on a comment from the Biden admin on the Monday raid at Mar-a-Lago, Jean-Pierre said, “First of all we’re just not going to comment on a Department of Justice Investigation. We’re just not going to comment.”

Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley called for the impeachment of U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland following the FBI raid.

Many Republicans and some Democrats slammed the raid as an unprecedented, politically motivated attack from a federal agency on a potential presidential candidate. Hawley called for Merrick Garland, the U.S. Attorney General, to be impeached and for the FBI to be completely reformed.

“The raid by Joe Biden’s FBI on the home of a former president who is also Biden’s chief political opponent is an unprecedented assault on democratic norms and the rule of law,” Hawley wrote. “Biden has taken our republic into dangerous waters.”
