The latest Nissan electric vehicles are coming right to your phone – and your home – with a new augmented reality (AR) experience.

The Electrification AR content highlights the all-new, all-electric 2023 Nissan ARIYA, the Nissan LEAF, and the latest Nissan Formula E car, and features Nissan brand ambassador and Academy Award-winning actress, Brie Larson.

Beginning today as part of Nissan’s electrification campaign, which includes promotions on mobile, social, TV, smart TV, Twitch, YouTube, and other digital platforms, some viewers may see an on-screen QR code that will bring them to the AR experience at  https://www.nissanusa.com/ar-electrified/.

“This innovative experience leverages the power of AR to immerse viewers in the exciting world of electrification while showcasing our all-new 2023 Ariya,” said Allyson Witherspoon, vice president and U.S. chief marketing officer, Nissan U.S. “Launching a vehicle as forward-thinking as ARIYA deserves the advanced capabilities of AR to highlight Nissan’s decades of experience with EVs and our enthusiastic push toward accessible electric mobility for all.”

The Electrification AR experience transports users into a world where they can see the three electric vehicles – ARIYA, LEAF and Formula E – in virtual, interactive environments.

As viewers explore each of the arctic, nature and city landscapes, Brie Larson appears in video to highlight some exciting benefits of electrification.

Finally, at the conclusion of the journey through each world, viewers can begin an AR experience that transports a virtual rendition of each vehicle into their home, office or any other real-world environment.

As part of the company’s Ambition 2030 plan, Nissan has committed to 40% of its U.S. sales being electric by 2030, with many more to be electrified.
