RUSKIN, Fla. – Hillsborough County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded at 12:03 pm Tuesday to distress calls from Ruskin residents trapped in their homes due to extensive flooding at 4204 33rd ST S.E.
Utilizing boats and jet skis, HCFR successfully evacuated a family of three, their two dogs, and an elderly couple.
Following these initial rescues, crews continued to conduct door-to-door checks to ensure the safety of all residents in the affected area.
