In an interview with Al-Jazeera, an elderly Palestinian woman claimed that the terrorist organization Hamas had stolen all of the aid intended for Gaza, which the reporter attempted to steer.
In subtitle translations of the interview published by the Middle East Media Research Institute on Thursday, the woman refutes the Al-Jazeera reporter’s claim that no aid is entering Gaza. Instead, she asserts that Hamas steals everything that does enter.
In October, President Joe Biden declared that the United States would provide $100 million in aid to the West Bank and Gaza.
This announcement came days after Hamas seized humanitarian supplies intended for Palestinian refugees.

“You know that all the people here cannot find anything to eat or drink?” asked the Al-Jazeera reporter.
“Yes, everybody is suffering,” replied the woman.
“The situation is difficult,” the Al-Jazeera reporter attempted to steer the interview. “No aid is coming in.”
“All the aid goes to [the tunnels] underground,” the woman responded. “It does not reach all the people. We came here from Gaza City. All the aid is meant for us,” the woman said. “I am not afraid (of Hamas). I am talking to them as well,” said the woman.
“All the aid reaches the Gaza strip, and…” the woman said before the reporter interrupted.
“A lot of aid is coming. It is being distributed. This is what they say,” the reporter responded.
“Hamas takes everything to their homes. They can take me, shoot me, or do whatever they want to me,” concluded the woman while shaking her finger at the reporter.
The reporter concluded the interview by saying, “It seems that the situation is unclear.”
