WESLEY CHAPEL, FL.- An around-the-clock detour of Eiland Boulevard is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022, weather permitting.
Eiland Boulevard will be closed to all traffic at the SR 54 intersection. Drivers will be directed by detour signs along SR 54, Eiland Boulevard, and US 301.
The detour is expected to be in place between April 9, 2022, and the night of April 13, 2022. This detour is necessary for the contractor to construct the northern side of the intersection of SR 54 and Eiland Boulevard in association with the SR 54 widening project.
Immediately after this detour is completed, another detour will begin on the south side of the intersection, closing Morris Bridge Road access at SR 54.
