TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 12, the eastbound entrance and exit ramps at Branch Forbes Road on I-4 will be closed. The closure is expected to last until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 15, weather permitting.
Detour for Eastbound I-4 Motorists:
- Exit I-4 at Exit 19.
- Proceed north on Thonotosassa Road (CR 582).
- Re-enter I-4 using the westbound entrance ramp.
- Continue west on I-4 to reach the Branch Forbes Road exit.

Detour for Motorists Accessing Eastbound I-4:
- Turn east onto Hillsborough Avenue (US 92).
- Turn north onto Thonotosassa Road.
- Proceed to the eastbound I-4 entrance ramp.
Electronic message boards and signage will be in place to guide motorists. Please exercise caution and be aware of construction workers in the area.
