TAMPA, Fla. – Starting at 9 a.m. today, all lanes of East Sligh Avenue between Rowlett Park Drive and North 30th Street will be closed for essential water infrastructure maintenance. The Tampa Water Department expects this closure to last until 5 p.m. on Friday, August 2, weather permitting.
Important Information for Drivers:
- Detours: Clearly marked detours and signs will be in place to help redirect traffic.
- Alternate Routes: Plan for extra travel time and consider using alternative routes if possible.
- Safety First: Exercise caution and be prepared for potential changes to the closure as work progresses.
