Early Voting Starts This Weekend For Republican Presidential Preference Primary Election

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Republican voters are being reminded by Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer that this weekend is the Presidential Preference Primary Election.

Hillsborough County’s in-person Early Voting continues daily through March 17, with 27 sites open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voters can vote at any Early Voting site during this period. They can also visit the Early Voting page of VoteHillsborough.gov to find a convenient location and check the wait time.

Voters who have a Vote By Mail ballot can turn in their ballot at a Secure Ballot Intake Station at any of the Early Voting sites during Early Voting hours.

Voters should allow at least a week to return their ballots by mail and are encouraged to drop them off to ensure they are received on time.

To be counted, all Vote-by-Mail ballots must be in one of the five Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections offices no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots cannot be turned in at Election Day polling places.
