SPRING HILL, Fla. – Early Monday, a house fire devastated a home on the 9300 block of Century Drive in Spring Hill. Hernando County Fire Rescue (HCFR) responded to the scene around 1:30 a.m., where they encountered heavy fire conditions originating from the garage and spreading throughout the house.
Fire crews launched an aggressive attack in an effort to contain the flames. However, the intensity of the fire caused significant damage, resulting in the destruction of the majority of the home.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Investigators believe the fire was accidental, likely caused by improperly discarded smoking materials.
