A search warrant executed at a Golden Gate Estates residence in Collier County on Thursday led to the arrest of two convicted felons and the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal drugs and firearms.
Collier County Sheriff’s Office Vice & Narcotics Bureau detectives, with assistance from SWAT, conducted the search at 560 10th St. N.E. The operation resulted in the discovery of multiple pills laced with fentanyl, 37.7 grams of methamphetamine (a trafficking amount), and 11 firearms. Detectives also recovered live ammunition, methadone, and drug paraphernalia.

“Public safety is my No. 1 priority,” stated Sheriff Kevin Rambosk. “Our hardworking detectives and deputies are committed to arresting individuals who are poisoning our community with fentanyl and other dangerous drugs, while curbing violent crime by taking guns out of the hands of criminals.”
Sheriff Rambosk’s “Laced & Lethal” fentanyl awareness and prevention campaign, a comprehensive safety initiative, highlights the dangers of the drug. The seized fentanyl pills were imprinted with “M” and “30,” mimicking legitimate oxycodone pills, which have led to numerous overdoses.
Kyle Austin Large, 34, faces charges of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of a firearm and/or ammunition by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
