Troopers say the Mercedes crossed the median and northbound lanes of Rowan Road before striking a utility pole and ultimately colliding with a building that houses Talia’s Salon Spot and Orange Grove Dental Care.
The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. Thankfully, the businesses were closed at the time of the incident, and no other injuries were reported.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash to determine the cause of the driver’s failure to maintain control of the vehicle. The extent of the damage to the building and the businesses within is currently being assessed.
