Elon Musk recently restored controversial Infowars host Alex Jones to social media. But Don Trump Jr. wants to give Jones another platform.
Appearing on the “Triggered” podcast on Thursday, Trump Jr. told hosts Storm Paglia and Matt Vespa that if his father is elected next November, he would like to make Jones the White House press secretary, if only temporarily.
“There’s a couple people I want to put in as press secretary for like a month, two weeks to a month … just to put these idiots in their place,” Trump Jr. said.

Jones was one. Conservative activist Laura Loomer, a major supporter of former President Donald Trump, was another.
“I’m not even joking. I’m actually serious,” he said.
“I’m not saying he’s got everything right, and this one would be controversial,” Trump Jr. continued of Jones.
But, he added, “Alex Jones for like a month would put these people in their place because — again, not saying he’s got everything right — but man he’s been a lot more right over the last decade or so than anyone in our mainstream media and I can say that with a fact,” Trump Jr. said.
“I’ll get criticized for it but that’s reality. He has been far more right than our mainstream media on the vast majority of things that are out there.”
For example, he noted that mainstream media reported on the Trump-Russia collusion hoax, even though they knew it was “bulls–t.”

“Alex Jones’ batting average is 10X better than CNN. Not even close. It’s not even close.”
For his part, Jones was willing to take the job.
“Sounds like a lot of fun! I officially accept the offer to be Trumps (sic) new press secretary! Looking forward (to) fighting fake news from the White House!” Jones posted on X.
