HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Hillsborough County deputies successfully apprehended a domestic violence suspect who attempted to evade arrest Saturday.

Hillsborough County deputies successfully apprehended 32-year-old Javares Robinson, who had fled from a traffic stop near U.S. Highway 301 and East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Robinson was eventually cornered off of North 28th Street, where he surrendered to authorities.

Deputies discovered outstanding warrants for domestic violence battery.

Sheriff Chad Chronister praised the collaborative efforts of the specialty and patrol units involved in the arrest.

“This man knew the consequences of his actions and quickly learned that he couldn’t hide from our deputies,” Sheriff Chronister stated. “This arrest is a testament to the collaboration of our specialty and patrol units.”
