OCALA, Fla. – Clinton Darnelle Kaham, a 24-year-old gang member from Ocala, has been sentenced to 20 months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. The sentence was handed down by Senior United States District Judge John Antoon II after Kaham pleaded guilty in February 2024.
According to court records, Ocala Police Department officers found Kaham in possession of a loaded firearm on July 6, 2022.

The firearm was later identified as stolen from Marion County. An FBI forensic analysis strongly linked Kaham’s DNA to the firearm.
Kaham’s prior felony conviction for heroin possession in 2021 prohibited him from owning firearms or ammunition under federal law.

The Ocala Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation jointly investigated the case, and Assistant United States Attorney Hannah Nowalk led the prosecution.
