Does Not Knowing Enough About Insects Bug You? Join The Insectathon Club

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – Does not knowing enough about insects bug you?  Explore the world of entomology with a free, new virtual offering from the UF/IFAS Pasco County 4-H. Insectathon Club for youth, ages 5 to 18, begins October 20, 2020.

WHAT:          4-H Insectathon Club, Ages 5 to 18

WHERE:       Virtual, bi-weekly online meetings

WHEN:          Oct. 20, 2020 to Jan. 19, 2021 / 6 p.m.

Participants will learn about entomology, including insect identification and the important roles they play in our world.  Club members will learn how to create their own insect collections and have the opportunity to participate in county and statewide 4-H contests and activities related to entomology.
