ORLANDO, Fla. – Due to Covid-19 concerns, runDisney has announced on its site today, that the November 5-8, 2020 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, will now be moved to a virtual event.

According to a statement online runDisney said, “The 2020 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend has taken on a new twist – it’s now a virtual event! As a registered runner for the original event, you have the opportunity to transfer your registration to the new Virtual version and show off your inner Disney villain — right from your own neighborhood, home gym, or wherever you choose to run.”

Runners will track their own times and completion based on the honor system and submit their results online to runDisney. Disney virtual events allow you to complete your course with your choice of running in your neighborhood, gym, or other.

Participants will still receive their shirts & medals by mail.  This year’s theme was Wickedly Delicious! with the medals and races designed after popular Disney Villains such as Captain Hook, Ursula, Evil Queen, and more. Races include the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Challenge, and assorted Kids Races.

All events have been SOLD OUT for weeks.
