The DUA program covers unemployment from August 4, 2024, to February 8, 2025, as long as the unemployment is a direct result of the hurricane. The deadline to apply varies by county, with most deadlines falling on October 15, 2024. Madison County residents have until October 28, 2024.

Applicants need to provide their Social Security number, check stubs, and proof of employment or self-employment at the time of the disaster. Additional documentation may be required.
