While visiting a center can provide personalized assistance, survivors do not need to go in person to apply for aid. FEMA encourages homeowners and renters to apply through the following options:

  • Online: DisasterAssistance.gov
  • FEMA Mobile App: Available for download on smartphones.
  • Phone: Call 800-621-3362. Help is available daily, with multilingual support. If you use relay services, captioned telephones, or other services, be sure to provide FEMA with the number for your service.

The Disaster Recovery Centers provide critical support for residents navigating recovery efforts, including applying for federal aid, understanding eligibility, and accessing additional disaster-related resources. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these services as the state works toward rebuilding and recovery.
