WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Polk County Sheriff’s Office is delivering a ‘Throwback Thursday’ message with Sheriff Grady Judd.
The video description says, “It’s #ThrowbackThursday with Sheriff Judd! We twisted his arm and asked him to tell some stories about his early days – and for this first video of what we hope to be a long-running series. Sheriff Judd talks about how he helped deliver a baby 50 years ago!”
“Help us solve this unsolved mystery – if you have any clues as to who this baby girl is, send us a Facebook private message (www.facebook.com/polkcountysheriff).”
The details are: a woman who was staying with her parents in a new development in the Garden Grove area of Winter Haven gave birth to a baby girl, on the bathroom floor of the home, assisted by a 16-year-old ambulance attendant named Grady Judd. He says it was either in 1970 or 1971. The birth mom is Caucasian, and the baby was not her first child.
