U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem has sharply criticized the leak of an internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) memo that revealed plans for a large-scale raid targeting undocumented immigrants in Los Angeles. In a fiery statement, Noem accused the FBI of corruption and pledged to work with other agencies to stop leaks and hold those responsible accountable.

“The FBI is so corrupt. We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked deep state agents to the fullest extent of the law,” Noem said. Her comments come amid growing frustration within the Trump administration over leaks that have disrupted high-profile law enforcement operations.

The leaked memo, obtained by the Los Angeles Times, detailed a coordinated operation involving ICE, the FBI, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The raid, reportedly set to take place before the end of the month, was intended to target individuals with criminal records or those who have violated immigration laws. The disclosure of the plans has raised concerns about the safety of law enforcement personnel and the potential impact on the operation’s effectiveness.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi echoed Noem’s sentiments during a recent Fox News interview, issuing a stern warning to the individual responsible for the leak.

“If anyone leaks anything, people don’t understand that it jeopardizes the lives of our great men and women in law enforcement,” Bondi stated. “If you leaked it, we will find out who you are, and we will come after you. It’s not going to stop our mission. It’s not going to stop the president’s mission to make America safe again.”

The leak is the latest in a series of incidents that have hampered the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement efforts. Earlier this year, a similar leak disrupted a planned raid targeting the Tren de Aragua gang, a transnational criminal organization.

Border Czar Tom Homan, who oversees immigration enforcement, expressed frustration over the earlier leak, calling it a deliberate attempt to obstruct law enforcement. “Leaks like this are not just irresponsible—they are dangerous,” Homan said. “They put our officers at risk and allow criminals to evade justice.”

The Trump administration has made immigration enforcement a central focus of its policy agenda, with an emphasis on deporting individuals who pose a threat to public safety or have violated immigration laws. However, leaks of sensitive operational details have repeatedly complicated these efforts, prompting calls for stricter internal controls and accountability.

Bondi’s office has not provided specifics on how it plans to identify the leaker or what penalties they might face. However, her strong rhetoric underscores the administration’s determination to prevent future breaches and ensure the success of its enforcement operations.

As the investigation into the leak continues, the Department of Justice and DHS are expected to implement additional measures to safeguard sensitive information.
