PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Reel Adventure Kayak Fishing and Osprey Bay Outdoors is hosting a kayak fishing tournament to fundraise for the family of Deputy Michael J. Magli, who was killed in the line of duty on February 17, 2021.
The open boundaries tournament is scheduled for safe light launch on Saturday, April 3, 2021. All participants are to weigh-in by 4:30 p.m., at Osprey Bay Outdoors located at 160 North Belcher Road in Clearwater.
A mandatory captain’s meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Friday, April 2,
2021 at Osprey Bay Outdoors. At the meeting, participants will be provided their registration card and given instructions for the event.
The registration fee for the tournament is $65.00. There will be a charity raffle, vendors, food, and a live D.J. at the event. All raffle proceeds will go to Deputy Magli’s wife and children.
The overall first place winner will be awarded $1,000.00, second place $500.00, and third place $300.00.
