TAMPA, Fla.- A Department of Defense contractor has been arrested in Tampa on child porn charges.
In April of 2022, the Tampa Police Department received a cyber tip regarding a person in Tampa who was sharing child pornography via social media.
Through investigative means, Tampa PD officers were led to the home of Anthony Pendleton III, 26, on W Wyoming Avenue in Tampa.
Pendleton confessed to knowingly sharing child pornography. Pendleton is employed with Seneca Resources, a contractor for the Department of Defense.
Multiple computers, phones, and electronic storage devices were found in his residence. Pendleton was arrested and charged with 16 counts of possession of child pornography.
Additional charges are expected, according to police.
