A 30-year-old Deltona woman was killed in a violent crash that happened on Sunday around 6:43 pm in Hilklsborough County, troopers say.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Hyundai Sonata was traveling northbound on I-75 in the inside lane near Milepost 256.
Troopers say the driver of the Hyundai, a 30-year-old Deltona woman, lost control of the vehicle, which departed the travel lane and collided with the median guardrail and concrete wall.
The vehicle then rotated back across all three travel lanes and into the path of a tractor-trailer.
The tractor-trailer collided with Hyundai, which was then redirected to the outside shoulder, where it collided with another barrier wall.
