A Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis crash-landed and flipped upside down at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, resulting in 18 injuries, including three critical.

The incident occurred as Endeavor Flight 4819 was landing in Toronto amidst windy and snowy conditions. The plane, carrying approximately 80 passengers, slammed onto the runway and flipped over.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene, and airport operations were temporarily suspended.

While the cause of the crash is still under investigation, strong winds are suspected to have played a role. Gusts of up to 41 mph were reported at the time, along with snow flurries. Crosswinds can be particularly challenging during landing, as they can push an aircraft off course.

Delta Airlines released a statement expressing concern for those involved and stating that they are working with authorities to investigate the incident.
