In his Monday broadcast of “The Dersh Show,” Attorney Alan Dershowitz addressed the reported death by suicide of Virginia Giuffre, a prominent accuser of Jeffrey Epstein. Giuffre’s family confirmed her passing at the age of 41 over the weekend, stating she died at her farm in Western Australia.
Dershowitz stated, “I have to mention the fact that Virginia Giuffre died. Over the weekend, according to her own family, uh, by her own hand. Um, she committed suicide. She was 41 years old.”

He then reiterated his long-standing denial of any involvement with Giuffre, saying, “All I have to say about it is I never met her. I don’t know her. I had never had any contact with her. I’ve never had sex with anybody, except my wife. Since the day I met Jeffrey Epstein, I was falsely accused.”
Dershowitz also referenced Giuffre’s past statements, noting, “She ultimately admitted, admitted that she may have confused me with someone else – quite an admission. She might have confused me with someone else she may have identified.”
Expressing a general sentiment about the news, Dershowitz commented, “Death is always sad. Death by suicide is always sad. And that’s all I’m going to say about the subject.”

He concluded his remarks on the matter by asserting his innocence. “Nobody should misunderstand my not saying anything, uh, anything but an assertion of complete and total innocence. This is not a gray area case. This is not a case where, um, there may have been sex, but maybe it was consensual. This is a case where I never heard the person, ever met her, never had any contact with her, never had any contact with any, uh, woman, uh, connected to, um, Jeffrey Epstein. I’m totally, completely, categorically, absolutely, unequivocally innocent – black and white case, simple as that. Um. So, um, we’ll move on.”
The news of Giuffre’s death comes after a life marked by her public accusations against Epstein and his associates. She alleged being trafficked and abused by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, starting when she was 16. Her allegations against Prince Andrew also garnered significant media attention.

In a statement to NBC News, Giuffre’s family described her as a “fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking” and acknowledged the heavy toll of her experiences.
Prior to her death, Giuffre had shared a concerning Instagram post detailing a severe car accident and claiming to be suffering from kidney renal failure.
The reported suicide of Virginia Roberts Giuffre marks a tragic chapter in the ongoing narrative surrounding the victims and perpetrators of Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.
