TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred around 3:45 PM on Monday, in the 7700 block of North Florida Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found an adult Black male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

North Florida Avenue between E Hanlon St and E Kirby St has been closed to traffic while detectives investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
