Deadly Hit and Run in Bradenton Manatee County Update

MANATEE COUNTY, Fla – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers continue to investigate the October 12, 2020, fatal hit and run crash, that occurred on 14^th Street in Bradenton. As the result of a tip, troopers located a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The truck, discovered at 3608 16^th Street West, Bradenton, matches the hit and run vehicle description and has damage consistent with being involved in a pedestrian crash.

With assistance from the 12^th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, the suspect vehicle has been impounded and will undergo forensics testing.  Florida Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Corporals continue to investigate the crash and are following all leads, in an attempt to locate the driver.
