TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred at a business in the 10000 block of N. Nebraska Avenue.
Police officers responded to a disturbance call at 6:14 p.m. Upon arrival, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

According to the Tampa Police, the preliminary investigation suggests that the shooting stemmed from a dispute between an employee and a customer at the 7-Eleven location. During the altercation, the employee shot the customer.
Authorities report that the employee is cooperating with the investigation and that there is no threat to the public.
