INVERNESS, Fla. – Starting Monday, October 7th, 2024, a section of Davidson Avenue west of US 41 will be closed for reconstruction. The closure will affect the portion of Davidson Avenue from just south of Tompkins Street to the US 41 intersection.
The road is expected to reopen the week of October 21st, 2024, weather permitting.

Detour Information:
Drivers can still access Davidson Avenue from SR 44 (W Main Street). To reach businesses on Tompkins Street, motorists will need to use Hendrix Avenue to connect to Tompkins Street.
