Davenport Men Arrested For Illegal Dumping In Polk County

POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Two Davenport men, 37-year-old Marcus Rebello, and 34-year-old Claudison Gueges, were arrested on Wednesday, September 11th, for illegal dumping.

A tipster alerted the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) about an ongoing illegal dumping incident on Sand Mine Road in Davenport. The witness reported seeing two men dump garbage bags, plastic totes, and a ping pong table from a dark blue 2022 Ford F150 truck.

The witness reported the crime and followed the truck and provided updates to the dispatcher.

Deputies apprehended the men at a car wash. Initially, Rebello admitted to dumping only the ping pong table, but later confessed to dumping the other items as well. Both men were arrested and taken to the Polk County Jail, where they were charged with felony dumping.
