Dade City Man Loses Control, Crashes Into Tree And Pole In Fatal Pasco County Crash

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 26-year-old Dade City man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Lane Road Tuesday night.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Chevy Trailblazer southbound on Lane Road at approximately 8:23 PM. North of April Lane, he lost control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway and colliding with a tree and a utility pole.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
