HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. – A 59-year-old Dade City man was killed in a crash that happened Friday, just before 7:00 pm.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car driven by a 19-year-old Plant City man, was traveling southbound in the left turn lane of SR-39 (Paul S. Buchman Highway) approaching Trapnell Road.
Troopers say the Dade City man, on a motorcycle, was traveling northbound on SR-39.
Investigators say at the intersection, the car turned left into the path of the motorcycle, which collided with the right side of car.
Troopers say upon impact, the man was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries at the crash.
