Kimberly Rosetta Logan, 48, of Beckley, has been sentenced to two years and 10 months in federal prison for distributing fentanyl. Following her prison term, Logan will serve three years of supervised release.
Logan admitted to her involvement in a drug trafficking organization (DTO) that distributed methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine base, commonly known as “crack,” in Beckley and other areas within the Southern District of West Virginia.

According to court documents and statements made in court, Logan sold fentanyl to a confidential informant at her Beckley residence on April 10, 2024. She further admitted to distributing additional quantities of fentanyl and cocaine to other individuals and using the substances herself throughout May 2024. During this period, Logan regularly ordered approximately 8 grams of fentanyl and 4 grams of cocaine per week from her Beckley-based supplier via phone, receiving the drugs at her home.
Logan has an extensive criminal history, including prior convictions for battery, obstruction of an officer, numerous shoplifting offenses, and controlled substance offenses.
She is one of 12 individuals indicted on charges related to a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine base within the Southern District of West Virginia from June 2023 to May 2024. All 12 defendants have pleaded guilty, with two pleading guilty to separate charges in lieu of the original indictment.

Acting United States Attorney Lisa G. Johnston announced the sentencing and commended the investigative work of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Beckley/Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Unit, which includes officers from the West Virginia State Police, the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department, and the Beckley Police Department.
Chief United States District Judge Frank W. Volk imposed the sentence. Assistant United States Attorney Andrew D. Isabell prosecuted the case.
