Hernando County Sheriff’s Office: Missing Brooksville Teen Located Safe

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. – Missing juvenile Alexander Lawson has been located and is safe, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

“Thank you for all of the tips,” said the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.


Previous Report: The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing 13-year-old Alexander Lawson. Lawson was last seen leaving his residence on Simona Avenue in Brooksville at approximately 10:30 AM on February 16, 2025.

Authorities say that Lawson is known to frequent areas within the city of Brooksville and the Hill N Dale community. He typically travels on foot or by bicycle.

Lawson is described as a Black male, 5’6″ tall, weighing 110 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing red and gray basketball shorts. No further details about his clothing were provided.

The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who has seen Alexander Lawson or has information regarding his current whereabouts to contact them immediately at 352-754-6830.
