A Colorado man was arrested last week and is facing assault charges after allegedly strangling a teenager at an In-N-Out restaurant.
The incident occurred when the teen accidentally splashed water on a woman while playing with friends. The woman’s companion, 55-year-old Lucas N. Kalisher, reportedly grabbed the teen by the neck, threw him to the ground, and left the scene.

Police were able to identify Kalisher through witness accounts and video footage, leading to his arrest and charges of second-degree strangulation and child abuse.
“The Loveland Police Department is very appreciative of the assistance we received from the community during this investigation. This is a perfect illustration of our new Vision Statement: ONE Community, ONE Police Department, ONE Team,” said Loveland Police Chief Tim Doran.
