A 33-year-old man accused of heinous crimes in Colorado found his cross-country fugitive tour abruptly ended in a Florida beach town. Justin Najdawi, wanted for sexual assault and possession of child pornography, was apprehended last Thursday night in Jensen Beach, Martin County, as he left his vacation rental for a quick dinner.
Najdawi’s alleged crimes, including videotaping the sexual assault of an unconscious woman, prompted a desperate flight across multiple states.

His journey took him through Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, and Georgia before he landed in Florida, hoping to evade the law.
However, law enforcement agencies were hot on his trail.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Warrants Unit collaborated with the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Street Task Force, FBI Miami/Ft. Pierce Bureau, and Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office to track Najdawi down. Their investigation led them to a vacation rental on NE Maguerite Street in Jensen Beach.

Thursday evening, as Najdawi stepped out for a meal, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit moved in and took him into custody. He will be extradited back to Colorado to face the charges he tried to outrun.
