College Student In Florida Dies After Police Find Him Unresponsive

Police in Florida are investigating after a male college student was found unresponsive and later died.

Police in Florida are investigating after a male college student was found unresponsive and later died.

According to the DeLand Police Department, officers responded to Stetson University campus housing Saturday night to conduct an investigation.

Investigators say around 7:50 p.m., a male student was found unresponsive at on-campus housing.

The male, later identified as 21-year-old Kaleb Walker, was later pronounced deceased.

“Based on our preliminary investigation, foul play is not suspected in Walker’s death,” said DPD.

DeLand Police’s Criminal Investigations Division is investigating as a matter of protocol, and we are working with Stetson University’s Campus Public Safety team.
