Cody’s Original Roadhouse Tampa Suffers Devastating Fire, Loss of Entire Establishment

TAMPA, Fla. – Cody’s Original Roadhouse a beloved establishment in Tampa, Florida, experienced a tragic fire early Thursday morning, resulting in the complete loss of the restaurant.

The fire broke out in the early hours of May 2nd, 2024, engulfing the entire building and causing irreparable damage.

First responders swiftly arrived at the scene to contain the blaze and ensure the safety of nearby residents and businesses.

“Cody’s Original Roadhouse extends heartfelt gratitude to all the courageous firefighters, police officers, and emergency personnel who responded promptly and worked tirelessly to manage the situation,” said Haley Bouchereau of Cody’s Roadhouse.

As of now, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and investigations are underway to determine the circumstances surrounding this devastating incident.

“Our priority at this time is to support our staff, guests, and the local community affected by this unfortunate event,” said Bouchereau.

Cody’s Original Roadhouse® Tampa has been a cherished part of the community since 1999, known for its warm hospitality, “Just Plain, Good Food,” and vibrant atmosphere. The outpouring of support from loyal guests, neighboring businesses, and concerned individuals is deeply appreciated during this challenging time.

President/COO Jason Gisclair shares on the matter, stating, “We remain committed to our brand and our community. We are resilient, and I have no doubt that we will emerge from this stronger. Together, we will rebuild and come back bigger and better than before.”
