MIAMI, Fla. – A 44-year-old man from Coconut Creek, Courtney Mallory, was charged on July 18, 2024, with robbing two banks in Palm Beach County. The first robbery occurred on June 5, 2024, at a Truist Bank in Boca Raton, and the second on July 12, 2024, at a Bank of America in Delray Beach.
According to the criminal complaint, Mallory entered both banks wearing a mask and brandishing what appeared to be a firearm. He demanded money from the tellers and fled the scene with thousands of dollars in cash in a dark blue Nissan.

FBI agents arrested Mallory at his Coconut Creek residence on July 17, 2024. During a search of his home and vehicle, agents recovered the clothing worn during the robberies, a black pellet gun, and thousands of dollars in cash, some of which were wrapped in bank bands from the robbed banks.
Mallory appeared in federal court in West Palm Beach on July 18, 2024, for his initial hearing. He is scheduled for a pretrial detention hearing on July 25, 2024.
U.S. Attorney Markenzy Lapointe, FBI Special Agent in Charge Jeffrey Veltri, and Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw announced the charges. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Aurora Fagan.
