The Cavaliers will become the first NBA team to hold their training camp at IMG Academy, a leading sports education institution with a 600-acre campus renowned for its top-tier facilities, including multiple basketball courts and advanced strength and conditioning resources. This will be the Cavaliers’ first remote training camp since 2004, when they trained at Capital University in Columbus, OH.

“IMG Academy is thrilled to host the Cleveland Cavaliers for their 2024-25 NBA Training Camp,” said Mike Milliron, Chief Operating Officer of IMG Academy. “Our proven track record of hosting professional sports organizations, along with our state-of-the-art facilities, makes us the perfect partner for the Cavaliers as they prepare for the season.”

Beyond utilizing IMG Academy’s facilities, the Cavaliers will have the chance to engage with the local Bradenton and Sarasota communities. The area is known for its rich history, vibrant cultural arts scene, and outdoor activities.
