CLEARWATER, Fla. – The highly anticipated Clearwater Celebrates America event is set to return to Coachman Park this July 4th, promising an unforgettable evening of patriotic festivities.

Kicking off at 5 p.m. with a reading of the Declaration of Independence, the event will culminate in a breathtaking fireworks display over Clearwater Harbor at 9:30 p.m. (subject to change).

Mayor Bruce Rector expressed his excitement, stating, “Clearwater Celebrates America is a beloved tradition that unites our community to honor our nation’s history and celebrate our freedom. This year’s event promises to be an extraordinary experience for all.”

Attendees can look forward to a wide array of entertainment, including a patriotic concert by The BayCare Sound Symphony at the newly opened The BayCare Sound venue. Additionally, street performers, live music, food trucks, a silent disco, and family-friendly activities will be available throughout Coachman Park.

This free event requires no tickets, making it accessible to all. However, those planning to attend should be aware that the Memorial Causeway Bridge will close at 9 p.m. and reopen when safe, potentially causing traffic delays. While fireworks can be viewed from boats, a perimeter around the park will be closed, and docking at the Clearwater Harbor Marina will be restricted from 5 to 10 p.m.
