CLEARWATER, Fla. – As summer winds down, Clearwater’s recreation centers are buzzing with excitement as they prepare to host a series of Back-to-School Bash events throughout August. These events aim to provide students and families with a fun and engaging way to kick off the new school year.
Ross Norton Recreation Center will kick off the series on Friday, August 2nd, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., with a free backpack and school supplies giveaway.
North Greenwood Recreation Center will follow suit on Saturday, August 3rd, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering free backpacks, school supplies, wellness checks, pool access, music, and activities.
Clearwater Beach Library & Recreation Center will host a pool party on Friday, August 9th, from 5 to 7 p.m., complete with games, refreshments, and music. Admission fees apply.
Finally, Morningside Recreation Center will wrap up the series on Saturday, August 10th, from 1 to 4 p.m., with a back-to-school celebration featuring swimming, music, and food. Admission fees apply.
