The closures are part of the ongoing U.S. 19 repaving project, which spans from Drew Street to Sunset Point Road in Pinellas County. Construction is anticipated to be completed in late 2025.
To assist drivers navigating the detour, advanced warning signs and electronic message boards will be deployed. Motorists should anticipate potential delays and congestion in the area during these nighttime closures.
The Florida Department of Transportation urges drivers to exercise caution and plan their routes accordingly.
