CLEARWATER, Fla. – The City of Clearwater is developing its Five-Year Consolidated Plan (2025-2029) and is seeking community input to address key issues such as affordable housing, fair housing, homelessness, community services, infrastructure, and business support.
The plan aims to foster collaboration between the city, private sector, community organizations, and residents to ensure equitable growth for Clearwater.
To gather public input and prioritize strategies for funding through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program, the city will host three community meetings:
- Meeting #1: February 10, 5:30 p.m., North Greenwood Recreation Center, 900 N. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.
- Meeting #2: February 11, 6:30 p.m., Ross Norton Recreation Center, 1426 S. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.
- Meeting #3: February 12, 5:30 p.m., The Long Center, 1501 N. Belcher Rd.

For those unable to attend the meetings, an online survey is available until February 28th at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ClearwaterConsolidatedPlanSurvey.
Individuals with disabilities requiring reasonable accommodation to participate in the meetings should contact (727) 562-4093 for assistance.
