CLEARWATER, FL. – Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a school bus crash this morning at Drew Street and Highland Avenue.
The call came in at 7:42 a.m, according to Police.
Investigators say a PT cruiser and Pinellas County school bus collided at the intersection.
The driver of the PT Cruiser was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert with injuries thought to be non-life-threatening.
Police say the bus driver was being evaluated by fire medics at the scene. No children on the bus were injured. There were six children and three adults on the bus.
The investigation into the cause of the crash continues and we will update this story when more details are released.
