CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater is introducing a new monthly event series, “Clearwater’s Last Friday,” designed to bring the community together and offer a fun, safe environment for families. The inaugural event, “Fall-O-Ween,” will take place on Friday, October 25th, from 3 PM to 10 PM at Coachman Park in Downtown Clearwater.

This initiative comes as Clearwater continues its recovery from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Recognizing the challenges faced by residents, “Fall-O-Ween” aims to provide a much-needed respite with a variety of activities, including:

  • Candy Trail: Hosted by nonprofits, vendors, and community partners like Pinellas County Jeeps.
  • Children’s Costume Contest: Open to kids under 17, with two age categories and prizes.
  • Movie Screening: A showing of the Halloween classic “Casper.”
  • Live Music: A performance by LOVE STORY: A Taylor Swift Tribute Band.
  • Food and Activities: A range of food vendors and family-friendly activities will be available.

  • 7:30 PM: “Casper” Movie Screening.
  • 8:00 PM: LOVE STORY performs on The Green.

“We know many in our community are still recovering from the recent hurricanes and many in our city are working hard to support them,” said Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector. “We wanted to have an event that not only provides a safe space for families to take a much-needed break, relieve some stress, and thank the many city workers, first responders and volunteers who have worked tremendously hard to provide much-needed resources and support. Events like this Clearwater Last Friday will help lift spirits and bring our community together as we all work to make Clearwater shine brighter than ever before.”
