TAMPA, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash in the southbound lanes of I-75 at Milepost 255, north of the Selmon Expressway.
Troopers say two pickup trucks were traveling southbound in adjacent lanes on I-75, just north of the Selmon Expressway.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, one of the pickups, driven by a 36-year-old Clearwater man, attempted to change lanes and collided with the second truck.
The collision caused both vehicles to rotate.

The pickup truck driven by the Clearwater man entered the grass median and overturned, with all occupants being ejected, including the driver, a 34-year-old Clearwater woman, a 12-year-old Clearwater boy, and a 14-year-old boy from Hillsboro, Texas.
All three from Clearwater died at the crash scene. The Texas boy is in critical condition.
The second truck came to a controlled stop in the inside emergency lane and no injuries were reported.
