City Of Tampa Offers Free Essential Supplies At Four Locations

TAMPA, Fla. – The City of Tampa is providing vital resources to residents affected by Hurricane Milton at four distribution sites across the city.

Drive-through PODS (Points of Distribution):

Two drive-through PODS are open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, offering water, MREs (Meals Ready-to-Eat), and ice:

  • Gandy Boat Ramp: 5108 W Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33611
  • Al Lopez Park: 4810 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614

The Al Lopez Park location is also distributing tarps, with additional supplies expected soon. These PODS will remain open for up to a week, as long as supplies last.

Neighborhood Pop-Ups:

Two neighborhood pop-up sites are providing water, MREs, and hygiene kits:

  • Babe Zaharias Golf Course: 11412 N Forest Hills Drive, Tampa, FL 33612
  • Copeland Park: 11001 N 15th St, Tampa, FL 33612

These pop-up locations, established in response to flooding in these areas, will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th, and Sunday, October 13th.
