CLEARWATER, Fla. – Residents and community members are invited to attend a public engagement meeting where the city is seeking input on the design of a new City Hall and Public Plaza.

The city of Clearwater is excited to be beginning the process of designing the new public spaces, planned to be adjacent to the existing Municipal Services Building, at 100 S. Myrtle Ave., which will be a central hub for our community’s activities and gatherings.

The input of our residents and community members is critical in shaping these spaces to best serve the needs and aspirations of our city.

City staff will be at the North Greenwood Recreation & Aquatic Complex, Room #2, at 900 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m., to share concept renderings, provide project overviews and collect public feedback.

The city’s architect, Wannemacher Jensen, will also be in attendance to meet with the community. Currently, the city and Wannemacher are asking the public to complete a survey seeking initial input on the design.

Survey results will be collected prior to the Oct. 30 meeting for use in presenting community input to attendees.
