PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 31-year-old Citrus Springs woman has died after being struck by an SUV on Thursday at around 8:15 pm.
According to Florida Highway Patrol an SUV was traveling eastbound on SR-54, west of Celtic Drive, where a pedestrian was standing in the dark and unlighted roadway for unknown reason.
The driver was unable to stop and collided with the pedestrian.
Transported to an area hospital, the pedestrian later died from injuries suffered during the crash.
